This past month has been crazy busy! Between birthdays, getting ready for vacation, Nels's crazy work schedule, Nels being out of town, school, vacationing, Halloween, parties, cleaning, getting the house and yard ready for the cold weather, and just life in general, it seems as if we've been running constantly. However, I'm now going to attempt to catch up on my sweet little bloggy.
This post is just a bunch of random pictures that have been waiting patiently to be shared.
With the exception of this last week, we've been blessed with a really lovely Fall. Temperatures have been gorgeous and we've also had some really nice rainy days, complete with amazing double rainbows in the late afternoon. Above is the view out my bedroom window on one such day about a month ago.
As we were getting ready to leave on vacation a few weeks ago, the girls came running in the house - excited about a little nest they'd found in the bush in our front yard. It's so cute and perfect. It's amazing to me what those little tiny birdies can do. Especially for such a relatively short amount of time that it will be inhabited! I planted this bush this only about two and a half months ago and I'm pretty positive that it wasn't there when I planted it. Seems like a lot of work for only about a month's worth of housing, but I'm really glad that they shared it with us! :)

In addition to the traveling that Nels does for work, his dad has made the trek over to our house several times in recent months to work on different projects. When he comes, he generally needs to bring his computer, so that Nels can give him some additional training related to using his new computer and also, it's just easier for two people to work with two computers. :) On his most recent trip he found a new way to ride with motorcycle and bring his iMac with him as well! :)
