A few random pictures!

Hazel's best bud, Brycen, with her at the Splash Park in Rexburg.

Have you ever seen a more perfect drawing of me? I bet it's safe to say you haven't! I absolutely LOVE Hazel's people drawings! I have literally pages and pages of them that I can't throw away!

Chocolate Cake??? Coming right up!

I don't know what all kids are like, but mine love nature! There is nothing that they would rather bring in the house every day more than a rock, a stick, a leaf, a ladybug, or an ant! This is Lilie's stick - she loves it!

Hazel LOVES to ride her bike on our back patio.

This is Lilie learning to dress herself! I tried "really hard" to explain to her that tank tops are not meant to go on bums, but she just wouldn't listen!

My ever cuddly Hazel!

The 1st Annual MOON Reunion!

This year we Moons decided to follow suit and have our very first Moon Family Reunion. I think this is a pretty big step for a family, to realize that they've grown large enough and spread far enough apart that there is a real need to actually set up a "Reunion". We decided that it would be easiest to have it out at the Merkley farm in Duchesne, UT. We had a blast! I don't have a lot of pictures, but I wanted to post at very least the one lone picture that Nels was able to capture (out of at least 20) where all of my family members look halfway normal

...and maybe a couple of examples of what most of them looked like!

"Roughing" it at the Moore's

Each summer for the past three years we've had a family reunion with the Chick family. This year we really had a "rough" time of it camping out in Tom and Tracy's (Nels' sister's) backyard in Colfax, WA. They had a Pirate theme, which the girls thoroughly enjoyed, and we all had such a great time! I love Nels's family and am so happy that I married into a family that I truly feel a part of. Here are a few of the fun pictures from our trip.

All of the little Chick cousins...I think Preston (on the far left) is thinking..."I am way too old for this!" Keaton, on the other hand, (far right) takes after his grandma and will probably never be too old for this!!!

Grandma the vicious pirate in a mumu! You know, Nels told me when we were dating that his mom was a "fun-haver"...If I'd only known all that entales!!! We love you, Kathy!

This was my favorite little pirate! She's intimidating, isn't she???

Each family had to have its own flag to display outside their "ship" (or "tent" if you prefer) to represent their family. This was ours. I'll admit, the baby in the belly thing is a bit morbid, but I got a good kick out of it!

Let's see if 2 web/computer saavy Chicks can figure out how this is done!

Well, we're here in our new house. Here is the long-awaited picture for all those who have been asking for the past 2 months! Looking at it this way, it's actually pretty cute, isn't it? We're (I'm) constantly working on making our little home more and more beautiful...it's got a long way to go, so each improvement feels like a home remodel! Nels is almost done with his movie (hopefully this week!) and then I'm putting him to work! Baby "Elsie" has her debut scheduled for about a month from now and we're really looking forward to seeing her!
Right now it's nearly 1 in the morning...I just wanted to see how this was done. I'll really get on updating this with some fun pictures and info about the past few months as soon as I can!
