I was gone for almost a week, on a video shoot for Coldwater Creek (rhymn #2, if you're counting). Well the night before my return home, Rachel posted this on my Facebook Wall:
It is important to note that there are 572 comments. That's right, 572!!!
Apparently Rachel Chick, Lynsey Stader, and Clancy Passey had their own "what's up time" on my Facebook wall, using it like a chat room. I read all of the comments, and laughed until I cried. These ladies are pretty funny, and very weird. Here was my favorite of the bunch:

Now, on to the thing that spurred it all on, Rachel loves me because she's funny. Rachel did something funny that she really wanted to show me when I got home. And it was funny, funny enough that I thought I should record it for posterity!
We may be dorks, but at least we're happy! I love you Rachel, for knowing what is funny!

***Note from Rachel: It seems I may need to rethink Nels's posting privileges on my blog. I'm sorry to anyone who actually takes any time at all to read what we posted or to watch this video. It's quite evident that at nighttime I get quite "punchy" and after a week alone with five children, I no longer have my wits about me.
As for Clancy and Lynsey? Not much I can say in their defense. They're just crazy. :) And that seems to be the basis of our friendship. I love it.
As a "frame of reference": I met Lynsey long ago when she was still the girlfriend of my boyfriend's (Nels) college roommate (who later became his wife ----- Ben's not Nels's). We have been friends for longer than Nels and I have been married. Clancy is one of the first people that I met when we moved to Idaho Falls after college - years and years ago. Clancy and Lynsey became "friends" by falling in love with one another through comments on my blog and my facebook page. :) You could say, quite literally, that they are "virtually" friends. :) Being that Lysney lives in Arizona and Clancy and I live in Idaho, the two of them have never met in person ---- but it's GOING to happen this year. And when it does . . . our husbands will probably have us committed within the first few hours (and Ben almost has the PhD. to do it). But you know? Being straightjacketed with these two ladies for the rest of my life would be a pretty good way to go.
